Eligibility: |
Elderly household or low income households with utility disconnect notice or with less than 10 day supply of fuel may be eligible for emergency benefits. Non-Public Assistance and non-Food Stamp recipients must apply for emergency benefits at the HEAP site. Regular HEAP benefits are automatic for public assistance and food stamp recipients. Other households must meet income requirements. Call main number for application. Seniors may call Office for the Aging for application. 2012-2013 HEAP PROGRAM WILL CLOSE ON MARCH 15, 2013. |
