ARTS IN EDUCATION: THE JOURNEY PROGRAM

 
General Information
Description of ProgramIntegrates the arts into the school curriculum for the understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. This is accomplished through annual teachers' workshops for professional development and in-service credit, indigenous artists' visits to the schools and the lending program of Discovery Chests containing dozens of cultural artifacts and objects for hands-on experiences within the classroom.
