General Information
Description of ProgramOffers emergency placement and diagnostic evaluations for males ages 10-16 for up to 90 days. Evaluates resident's behavioral, psychological, psychiatric, physical and educational status. Serves males with a minimum IQ of 70, who are dependent, neglected, abused or adjudicated. Persons in Need of Supervision (PINS) or Juvenile Delinquent (JD) in need of 24 hours supervision.

Client Information
EligibilityMales, ages 10-16, minimum IQ of 70, dependent, neglected, abused, PINS or JD. Referred by Nassau or Suffolk DSS or NYS ACS. Access to all Emergency Housing for Homeless Persons Requires a Referral by a DSS office location/hotline operator. If you are ineligible for DSS services, please call Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at (631)464-4314.
