General Information
Description of ProgramOffers programs which are designed for all ages, from children to adults, and offers access to conservatory-level music instruction from one of the nation’s premier collegiate training grounds for musicians. With stellar faculty and resources, the Community Music Program is equipped to broaden your musical skills, showcase your musical growth, and above all, instill a lifelong love for music. Programs include: Early Elementary (pre-K to 2nd grade): First Steps in Music; Late Elementary (3rd to 7th grade): Elementary Orff Ensemble and Youth String Ensemble; Middle and High School (7th to 12th grade): Young Artist Chamber Program, Young Artist Jazz Program and Percussion Ensemble; Workshops (families and adults): Community Chamber Music and College Audition Workshop; Summer Camps (3rd to 12th grade): Youth Strings Camp, Youth Choir Camp, Chamber Strings Camp and Jazz Camp and Private Lessons (all ages): Private Lesson Request.
