General Information
Description of ServiceProvides counseling,drama, and art therapy for children age 3 1/2 to 12. Services are available to children who have witnessed domestic violence in their homes who have been sexually assaulted or raped by a non-family or non-household member, or sexually assaulted by a family member. Goal is to stabilize the child during and after the crisis. Counseling for children is short-term, usually four to six months. Provides referrals to have child evaluated for legal or custody disputes where there are allegations of abuse.
