General Information
Description of AgencyProvides diagnostic evaluation, short term comprehensive rehabilitation training, and vocational preparation and placement for adults who are deaf-blind. Services include 10 regional offices, over 40 affiliated agencies, a National Training Team, Services for Older Adults Who are Deaf-Blind, A Community Services Program for the Greater Metropolitan Area, and a National Consortium on Deaf-Blindness. The Center also maintains a National Registry of Persons who are Deaf-Blind, and is part of DB-LINK, The National Information Clearinghouse on Children Who Are Deaf-Blind.
