General Information
Description of ProgramOffers a 160-hour course which will prepare students for an exciting career in the world of Culinary. In 15 weeks, students will learn hands-on what it takes to be employed in a variety of entry-level culinary positions. This course will be taught by Professional Chefs in a state-of-the-art facility. Students will have Intensive training in the following 9 modules: Career Awareness Safety/Sanitation; Stocks, Soups & Sauces; Butchery Skills (Beef, Chicken & Pork); Fruits, Vegetables & Salads; Starches; Intro to Baking; Table Service; Short Order Cooking (Breakfast items) and Culinary Employment Skills. Student supplies include 7-piece knife set, apron, jacket, pants, 6 towels and hat. ServSafe exam is included. Courses vary each semester. Call for details and a brochure.
