General Information
Description of ProgramInvestigates complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodation, education, credit, and volunteer firefighting based on race/color, age, marital/familial status, national origin, sex/gender, creed, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, alienage or citizenship status, veteran/military status, lawful source of income or because of being a victim of domestic violence. The Commission is also mandated to take complaints of undue force against the Suffolk County Police Department.
