General Information
Description of ProgramProvides a therapeutic residential environment for adolescents with serious emotional disturbance. This is an out-of-home placement providing 24/7 supervision to assist in stabilizing and maintaining their symptoms and behaviors. Teaches residents skills of emotion management and self-care that will allow adolescents to return to their families. Skills taught include, but are not limited to, medication management,behavior management, counseling services, health services, socialization, family support services, daily living skills, and independent living skills. referral required from SPOA. EligibilityYouth must be between the ages of 12-17 upon admission and be diagnosed with at least one serious emotional disturbance. Program is voluntary and parents must be willing to have their child placed out of the home. Referral required from SPOA.
