General Information
Description of ServiceProvides vocational rehabilitation services for Nassau County residents with a history of substance abuse. Assists clients in developing vocational plans based on factors including educational/employment/legal history, medical needs, values, background, interests, motivation and vocational test information. Offers job readiness activities and explores possible career options. Collaborates with the following Nassau County Agencies: Family and Children's Association, Port Counseling Center, EDNY, Southeast Nassau Guidance, Central Nassau Guidance, EAC New Path Treatment Center and Long Beach Reach, Inc.
