General Information
Description of ServiceOffers a 3-week lecture and workshop series that is designed to heighten the awareness of enthusiastic students for basic, clinical and translational sciences and associated specialties of the biomedical field. Scientists, Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, Health Administrators and other Experts teach students about different topics, specialties, and also laboratory and clinical techniques. Interaction between these experts and the students enhances the educational experience and gives the students insights into topics and careers in biomedical science. Contributions are welcome to defray operational costs. There is no fee for the program. Lunch will be provided every day. SARAS includes: Workshops, Lectures, Discussions & Expert’s Views on Topics in Biomedical Sciences; Lab Safety Sessions leading to Certification to Work in a Research Lab; Exam prep sessions to get ready for SAT/ACT/MCAT and more!
