General Information
Description of ServiceOffers 90 degree programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, in more than 50 fields of study, including architecture and design; arts and sciences; education; engineering and computing sciences; health professions; management; and medicine. A non-profit, independent, private, and nonsectarian institution of higher education, NYIT has more than 9,000 students worldwide. Programs are offered by NYIT's: Schools of Architecture and Design; School of Education; School of Management; School of Engineering and Computing Sciences; School of Health Professions, College of Arts and Sciences; and College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM). Traditional and accelerated formats in day, evening and weekend sessions are available in addition to certificate programs, noncredit and personal enrichment programs and off campus independent study. NYIT maintains campuses on Long Island in Old Westbury and Manhattan.
