General Information
Description of ServiceProvides intensive advocacy services necessary to obtain Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for disabled Temporary Public Assistance recipients. Assists in all phases of the eligibility process for these benefits including applications, appeals and administrative hearings. Applicants must bring list of all past and present doctors, hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, etc. and a list of medications taken.

EligibilityIndividuals and couples who have been determined eligible and are receiving monthly cash assistance and who have a disability expected to last 12 months or more.
