Description of ServiceProtect and benefit wildlife on Long Island. Part of the National Wildlife Refuge system for the conservation, management and where appropriate restoration of the fish, wildlife, and plant resources and their habitats on Long Island. Comprised of eight National Wildlife Refuges and a Wildlife Management Area. Refuges include Target Rock National, Wertheim National, Elizabeth A. Morton National, Conscience Point National, Lido Beach National, Seatuck National, Oyster Bay National, Amagansett National, and Sayville National.
