Cheerleading camp is a dynamic fun filled program combining dance, jumps, tosses, cheers and chants for campers. Campers will learn the latest stunts, pyramids and cheers in a safe and fun environment. Future Stars Summer Camps programs at Farmingdale State College are permitted to operate by Suffolk County Dept.of.Health. All programs take place on campus. Campers have the option to enjoy a daily lunch program with hot and cold menu choices as they eat in the comfortable air-conditioned cafeteria.     CHRISTINE A. NOWIERSKI CHEER CAMPCAN Cheer Camp, under the direction of Hofstra Cheerleading Coach Christine A. Nowierski-Farina, is designed for cheerleaders who desire a full day of expert training in all facets of cheerleading. CAN Cheer Camp offers an innovative and creative curriculum developed and instructed by Coach Nowierski-Farina and her Division I collegiate staff. Training will include cheers, dances, jumps, stunts, pyramid building and gymnastics. The camp is structured for both teams and individuals to believe in themselves and achieve their personal best. CAN Cheer Camp encompasses all styles and skill levels from beginner to elite. Cheerleaders will be grouped according to age and skill level. Teams will be able to work on routine building for the upcoming season as well as create spirited traditions for their schools. Hofstra’s CAN Cheer Camp utilizes the University’s state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facilities for gymnastics and stunting sessions. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts with no pockets, flat sole sneakers/cheerleading sneakers and sweat socks. Players must bring their own water bottle.
