The programs may provide coaching assistance to help participants play efficiently and work together as a team, and are often organized into leagues, i.e., groups of teams that are formed to play one another in organized competitions. Access to a baseball field and necessary equipment, uniforms, if necessary, and umpires for games may also be available.

    BASEBALL CAMPProvides quality instruction for athletes of all levels in a safe and innovative learning environment. The program takes place on campus at Farmingdale State College, utilizing the collegiate athletic facilities. All areas of the game are thoroughly addressed through a variety of drills, practice sessions, and situational games under the guidance of our developmental coaching team. Players entering grades 3-7 will consistently work on position specific training as well as a strong fundamental focus throughout the World Series games. Understanding and utilizing healthy efficient mechanics during situational play is a key component of the Future Stars Baseball Camp curriculum. Future Stars Summer Camps programs at Farmingdale State College are permitted to operate by Suffolk County Dept.of.Health. All programs take place on campus. Campers have the option to enjoy a daily lunch program with hot and cold menu choices as they eat in the comfortable air-conditioned cafeteria. Campers have the option for daily “water-park” and “game tent” activities under the supervision of our experienced staff.     BASEBALL CAMPProvides a summer day baseball camp that is geared to the instruction of student ages 7-17. Younger campers will be provided with a positive introduction to the world of athletics in a fun atmosphere. Our young campers will enjoy the game of baseball by learning the basic skills needed to develop a strong foundation for mature athletic success. During the week, as our students’ skills develop, so will their self-esteem and confidence. Instruction for our older campers will be geared toward coaching “What it takes” to become a successful player. The progression of skills and individualized instruction will be geared toward making all campers reach their baseball potential. Additionally, it is hoped that the time spent at the camp will be a memorable experience and one that will allow all campers to become not only better baseball players, but better young people. Hofstra Summer Camps is excited to partner with New York Baseball Academy, which has provided the top baseball instructional programs on the East Coast.
