    JASON PASION TENNIS CAMPOffers tennis camp for campers entering into grades 7-12. They offer a high-performance training week which is specifically designed for players competing in or striving to compete in USTA Regional, Sectional, and National Tournaments, and those interested in playing middle school, high-school tennis, college tennis and beyond, as well as players at any level who want to be the best they can be. Head Coach Jason Pasion from Hofstra University will be directing the week’s programming and will be joined by his staff of current and former NCAA collegiate players. The week will feature Athletic and Performance training, high intensity drills, footwork, mental toughness training, point strategy, video analysis, and match play. Players entered will also have a chance to compete in a USTA sanctioned junior tournament that will be held on site at Hofstra University the same week. The Daily Program Includes: Stretching and warm-up exercises; Drilling and Instruction – live ball hitting, technique development and improvement; Point and match play and Tennis specific cross-training and mental toughness training. Jason Pasion Tennis Camp utilizes the university’s Outdoor Tennis Center, that houses 8 separate courts. Players will also have use of Hofstra's premiere dining facilities, indoor heated Olympic-sized swimming pool, and fully equipped infirmary staffed by registered nurses. With expert instruction and a motivating, positive learning environment, Hofstra Summer Camps provide the ultimate opportunity for learning skills and gaining confidence while having fun and making friends.     MULTI-SPORTS CAMPOffers a multi-sport program which is designed to be the perfect blend of sports, recreational games, and camaraderie with campers entering grades 3-10 participating in a multitude of exciting, fun-filled games.     TENNIS CAMPOffers the perfect mix of match play, drill work, strategy sessions and off-court activities to challenge players of all levels. The program is designed to improve every facet of the game, including technical, tactical, physical and mental components under the guidance of our experienced and enthusiastic Tennis professionals. Campers - entering grades 2-10 - will be carefully grouped according to skill level and age and will be encouraged to enhance their strokes and strategies via group lessons, skill building drills organized play, target training, fitness routines and more. For Beginners and Advanced Beginners: The emphasis will be on fundamental stroke production and consistency. Campers will learn the correct mechanics of each stroke, proper court position and movement, and sound strategies for future growth and development. All of the basic techniques will be reinforced constantly through fun games, singles and doubles play, coordination exercises, and team competitions. For Intermediate and Advanced Players: Routines are specifically designed to improve and strengthen strokes to produce more reliable and effective results. Repetitions are practiced to build total self confidence and muscle memory. Physical and mental toughness will be combined with advanced strategies for singles and doubles point play and match play. For High School and Tournament Players: We will work to further refine stroke production, power, intensity, focus and match play skills. We will work diligently to overcome weaknesses so players are ready to move up to the next level on a team or in the rankings.
