    HOMELESS INTERVENTION PROGRAMOffers people help to obtain long term housing and maintain that housing once assistance being provided to them ends. Services include legal services, financial assistance, eviction prevention, credit counseling, budgeting skills housing location, mediation, security and utility deposits, utility and rent arrears payment, and stabilization services. Financial assistance and support is provided to participants for an 18 month period and re-certification every three months is necessary.     HOUSING AND TENANT COUNSELING SERVICESProvides intervention on behalf of tenants to prevent homelessness and to assist those who are homeless. This includes assistance in finding affordable housing, advocacy and dispute resolution in landlord/tenant matters, assist tenants in money management and household budgeting. Referrals are made to programs such as: HEAP, SECTION 8, Social Services, and Public Housing.
