    IMPAIRED DRIVER PROGRAMOffers an Impaired Driver Program for eligible motorists convicted of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), or Driving While Alcohol Impaired (DWAI). The Department of Motor Vehicles determines eligibility for the program. If you are eligible, you must register at your local DMV office. For detailed information on the program visit the DMV website. Nassau Community College offers a convenient schedule with weekend and evening classes. Classes are offered Monday - Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings and occasionally Sunday mornings. The $234 fee (certified check or money order) is payable to NCC, at the first class. Classes are located in the NCC North Annex at 500 Endo Blvd, Garden City. If you need additional information about NCC’s Impaired Driver Program, Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.     STOP DWI ALTERNATIVE TO INCARCERATION PROGRAMProvides a Correctional Treatment program designed for jail bound multiple DWI offenders and female defendants with a drug/alcohol history. The program provides addiction treatment in a correctional setting staffed by Addiction counselors and Correctional staff. Upon completion, offenders who receive a split sentence continue on probation supervision under the direction of the Probation Addictions Treatment(DWI) unit.     VICTIM SERVICESOffers support to victims and their families who have suffered serious physical, psychological and financial damages as a result of a crash. Offers victim support groups, victim hotline, advocates to accompany victim/family through legal system, assists with a Victim's Impact Statement before the offender is sentenced.
